Sarah’s Snow

My online artist friend Sarah Rose took this photo while on a drive near her home in Colorado. Living in Savannah pretty much limits my access to snow scenes, so I was grateful to Sarah for sharing this photo with me and giving me permission to use it for this painting. Growing up in West Virginia I got to experience snow in the hillsides. My mother often commented on the beauty that winter held since so much more of the valleys were viewable without all the leaves and undergrowth.
