SEA SPRAY

My first visit to the ocean came the summer after sixth grade when my dad took our family on summer vacation from West Virginia to South Carolina. Jumping the waves with my sister, brother and aunt made such an impression that I continued to dream of it for many years. Of course, retirement to a place near the ocean was inevitable. But painting those beautiful waves was something that I never dreamed about. But here I am, painting away, actually obsessed with learning how to interpret the beauty and power of the ocean.
