Description of Windmill in Winter
This work was inspired by a visit to Holland with my daughter Gretchen in the winter of 2017. On a train trip to Delft from Amsterdam, I took a photo of a windmill on a river. Artist Floris Verster’s painting of a winter scene provided the perfect background for the Delft windmill.
